Anne and Rachel leave the Children’s Fund on March 31st 2008.  Lynda and Estelle have kindly agreed to delay redundancy until the end of May so that final quarterly payments can be made, and the accounts and office can be properly closed.  All of us are currently seeking new employment, but we are feeling positive about the situation and grateful for the years of experience we have had working with all of you and for the Children’s Fund generally.

You will all be aware of the new Early Intervention Fund that is being administered by the Joint Commissioning Group and we hope that those of you who have submitted bids will receive a positive result to help your

ongoing services.

We would like to thank you all for working with us, and within the GOSE constraints that didn’t always make life easy!  We also want to thank you again for all you contributed to the Final Report and the Final Event back in December.  The legacy of learning from what you have achieved for children and families in Portsmouth should be a matter of

pride for us all.

We wish you every success for the future, and will hope to remain in contact with many of you as we move on to new ventures.
